Get Ready for the Most Unique Singles Event in Portland!

The People's Courts Singles Night is a chance for local singles come together for a fun evening of games, food & drinks. Here's a breakdown of what attendees can expect:

Ice Breaker:

• Get to know other attendees! Break the ice with some fun prepared games led by your hosts.

Pickleball Scramble: A structured activity where participants play Pickleball in a fun and social setting. It includes:

• Pickleball Ticket Holders should be able to serve, recieve and return the ball & understand general pickleball rules. (The Pickleball Ticket is not designed for those who have never played.)

• Please let us know 1 day in advance if you are unable to attend. Much time and effort goes into creating the roster for the scramble.

Other Games: Unlimited gameplay of various recreational games including:

• Bocce

• Ping Pong

• Foosball

• Beer Pong

• Giant Jenga & Connect 4

• Board games and cards available throughout the venue.

Meet a Mutual is our take on the trend where single people get presented to a live audience to get them dates!

All you do is make a live dating app profile for your friend in a deck and then present it in person to a party of people hosted by a Meeting Mutuals - in the Jackie's stadium room.

Here's how it works:

• You, the friend, present your fabulous single friend who you think is awesome - highlighting their personality, quirks, interests, and what makes them a great catch - in a live presentation on a projector screen.

• The presentation should be lighthearted and witty, kind of like a mini sales pitch or a dating profile, but with a personal touch.

• It happens in real life! In front of an audience!

• Include photos, videos, or fun facts to make the pitch more compelling.

How to participate:

• Email us: Send us a Google Slides Deck (no PowerPoint, please!) pitching your single friend (with their permission) by May 26th. We will select a few Meet a Mutual decks to present at this event.

• We'll let you know by May 27th if you've been selected as a presenter. We'll also have a waitlist just in case we have time for more presentations - we'll let you know if you should be prepared.

• Attend Meet-A-Mutual on May 28th: Show up and check in with the Host before 7:30pm.

• Social: Promote the event on your socials! Invite your mutuals out to support you and your friend :)

Agenda:

• 8:00pm: Arrive at Jackie's and pick up your stickers that tell everyone if you're single and who you're looking to date (men, women, or everyone)

• 8:30pm: Presentations start

It’s a smaller, more intentional party filled with people our team (and our mutuals) have personally invited.

What makes this different?

Golden Ticket Parties are mostly invite-only.

Everyone in the room has been invited by us or vouched for by someone we trust.

It's a more dialed-in version of our bar takeover parties:

• more intimate

• actively hosted

• hand-picked attendees

How it works

We've given our mutuals a handful of physical Golden Tickets. We told them to hand them out in the wild to people who they think are fun, interesting, and/or hot. Anyone who receives a physical Golden Ticket gets into the party with their crew for free.

• You, the friend, present your fabulous single friend who you think is awesome - highlighting their personality, quirks, interests, and what makes them a great catch - in a live presentation on a projector screen.

• The presentation should be lighthearted and witty, kind of like a mini sales pitch or a dating profile, but with a personal touch.

• It happens in real life! In front of an audience!

• Include photos, videos, or fun facts to make the pitch more compelling.

How to participate:

• Email us: Send us a Google Slides Deck pitching your single friend (with their permission) by April 26th. We will select around 10 Meet-a-Mutual decks to present at this event.

• We'll let you know by April 28th if you've been selected as a presenter. We'll also have a waitlist just in case we have time for more presentations - we'll let you know if you should be prepared.

• Attend Meet-A-Mutual on April 30th: Show up and check in with the Host at 6:30pm.

• Social: Promote the event on your socials! Invite your mutuals out to support you and your friend :)

Agenda:

• 7:00pm: Arrive at Jackie's and pick up your stickers that tell everyone if you're single and who you're looking to date (men, women, or everyone)

• 7:30pm: Pitches start

• 8:15pm: Break for drink/bathroom/socializing

• 8:30pm: Pitches continue

• 9:00-10:00pm: Social hour - go say hi to the singles being pitched and hand off a You're Cute card if you want to connect with them after.

If you want to be a presenter, and pitch a mutual to our live audience: email your presentation (Google Slide decks ONLY) to hello@meetingmutuals.com by April 26th. We will review it, and if selected, we'll let you know by April 28th.

Meeting Mutuals x Portland Thorns Singles Mixer ⚽️❤️

Wish you could just show up somewhere and know that everyone there is open to meeting new people (and that they’re actually single)? That’s exactly what we do every week - and this time, we’re doing it inside Providence Park with the Portland Thorns.

We’re doing our signature bar takeover singles party at a live Thorns match, with a dedicated singles mixer on the Pub Beer Patio right behind one of the goals.

What to expect:

• A casual, unstructured singles mixer (no speed dating or activities)

• A crowd of Meeting Mutuals members + other local singles

• Full access to the Portland Thorns game from a prime social viewing area

• Music, drinks, and plenty of opportunities to meet people
