Introduction

Welcome to Meeting Mutuals Social Club ("Meeting Mutuals"). By becoming a member or participating in our events, you agree to abide by the following Terms & Conditions. These terms govern your membership and participation in all Club activities. Please read them carefully.

Changes to the Terms

These Terms may change as we continue to evolve our business. If we change these Terms, we will post the revised document here and such changes will be effective immediately upon that posting. Your continued membership and use of any digital community owned by Meeting Mutuals constitutes your acceptance of such changes and agreement to be bound by the modified Terms, and so we recommend that you review these Terms periodically.

Membership Eligibility

Criteria for Selection

Meeting Mutuals aims to create a positive and safe environment for all members. To ensure this, we use specific criteria to select potential subscribing members. By applying for membership, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

  1. Application Review: We will review all applications and conduct online searches to verify your eligibility based on public information.

  2. Eligibility Criteria: We assess potential members on their ability to contribute positively to the community, including factors such as behavior, reputation, and alignment with our club values.

  3. Public Information: Information gathered from publicly accessible sources will be used to make our determination.

Non-Discrimination Policy

Meeting Mutuals is committed to fostering an inclusive and diverse community. We do not discriminate on the basis of:

Member Responsibilities

As a member of Meeting Mutuals, you agree to uphold the integrity and values of our community by adhering to the following responsibilities:

  1. Truthful Information: You agree that all details provided about yourself during the application process and throughout your membership are truthful, accurate, and complete.

  2. Behavior Standards: No scamming, harassment, or dishonesty of any kind will be tolerated. Members must treat each other with respect and kindness.

  3. Compliance: Members must comply with all club rules, event guidelines, and these terms of service.

Membership Requirements & Expectations

  • When you use our Services, you represent and confirm that:

    • All the Details you have provided are truthful, accurate and complete.

    • You do not have any criminal convictions.

  • You are prohibited from:

    • Deliberately or recklessly harming the reputation of Meeting Mutuals or the reputation of any Member of Meeting Mutuals, and from making defamatory or disparaging statements publicly available.

    • Making defamatory or negative statements (either verbally or in writing) about Meeting Mutuals, the services we provide or any Member of Meeting Mutuals to any Third Party.

    • Disclosing Confidential Information to any Third Party (and you will take the utmost care to keep Confidential Information secure and protected and to ensure that you do not inadvertently disclose Confidential Information).

    • Causing a nuisance, inconvenience or anxiety to any Member or employee of Meeting Mutuals, or contact them after they have explicitly notified you that they do not wish any further communication.

    • Acting in an abusive, threatening, harassing, obscene, libelous, offensive, sexist, racist or discriminatory manner towards any Member or employee of Meeting Mutuals.

    • Obstructing anyone else from using and enjoying Meeting Mutuals’ services

    • Impersonating another person.

    • Using our services for any commercial purpose such as to promote products or services to other Members.

    • Providing us with any photograph or other material the copyright in which belongs to a Third Party.

Code of Conduct

To maintain a welcoming environment, all members are expected to follow our code of conduct:

  1. Respect: Treat all members with respect and courtesy. Discrimination, bullying, or any form of harassment will not be tolerated.

  2. Integrity: Act with honesty and integrity in all interactions. Any form of deceit, including false representation of identity or intent, is prohibited.

  3. Safety: Prioritize the safety and well-being of yourself and others. Report any suspicious or inappropriate behavior to club organizers.

Membership Fees

  • Membership fees are non-refundable and payable annually or monthly, as selected during registration.

  • Meeting Mutuals will not offer subscription refunds to the Member if that Member cannot attend any number of the events planned.

  • Meeting Mutuals reserves the right to change membership fees with 30 days' notice.

Membership Benefits

  • Members are entitled to attend all Meeting Mutuals events, receive event notifications, and access exclusive member-only activities and discounts.

Membership Termination

Meeting Mutuals reserves the right to terminate or suspend membership at our discretion if a member violates these terms of service or engages in behavior that is harmful to the community.

Event Participation

  1. Event Access: Membership does not guarantee access to all events. Participation is subject to availability and specific event criteria.

  2. Behavior at Events: Members are expected to adhere to the code of conduct at all events. Any violation may result in removal from the event and potential termination of membership.

Event Changes and Cancellations

  • Meeting Mutuals reserves the right to change event details or cancel events due to unforeseen circumstances.

  • Members will be notified of any changes or cancellations as soon as possible.

Photography

At Meeting Mutuals events, photography will be in use to capture the fun and memorable moments we share. By attending our events, you consent to having photos taken of you and shared on our social media channels, website, and other promotional materials. If you have any concerns about being photographed, please let us know at the start of the event.

Privacy and Data Use

  1. Personal Information: We respect your privacy and will handle your personal information in accordance with our privacy policy.

  2. Data Accuracy: You agree to provide and maintain accurate information about yourself. False or misleading information is grounds for membership termination.

Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising out of or related to these terms of service or your membership with Meeting Mutuals will be resolved through mediation or arbitration, as agreed upon by both parties.

Changes to Terms

Meeting Mutuals reserves the right to modify these terms of service at any time. We will notify members of any significant changes. Continued use of our services after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

Liability

  • Meeting Mutuals is not liable for any personal injury, loss, or damage incurred during events.

  • Members and guests participate in events at their own risk.
